Henry Porter Smart 
Henry Porter was born in 1830 in AL.1 Henry Porter's father was Cornelious Smart and his mother was Temperance Rushing. His paternal grandparents were James, Jr. Smart and Piety Ledbetter; his maternal grandparents were Mathew Malachi Rushing and Elizabeth Thornhill. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Edward, Malachi A., Charles Richard, Sefsee, Francis Marion, Eliza M., Isabel Jane and Caroline Temperance. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 35 in 1865 in ?.1 General Notes
