Minneola was born on September 7th, 1882 in Tidwell Prairie, TX.1 Minneola's father was Zebulon Thomas Rushing and her mother was Josephine Emily Yarberry. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Hazard Perry Rushing and Irene E. Weaver; her maternal grandparents were William Frank Yarberry and Nancy Ann Dodd. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Oliver Franklin, Charles Thomas, William Jackson, Oby Zeb, Arthur Louis, Joe Roy, Guy Townsend, Exer Emily, Elsja V., Estelle and Ethel Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 53 on November 4th, 1935 in Beck Prairie, Robertson Co. , TX. She was buried in Nesbitt or Beck Prairie Cemetery, located between Calvert and Owensville, Robertson Co. , TX.1 1 General Notes
