Ethel Mary was born on February 26th, 1898 in TX.1 Ethel Mary's father was Zebulon Thomas Rushing and her mother was Josephine Emily Yarberry. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Hazard Perry Rushing and Irene E. Weaver; her maternal grandparents were William Frank Yarberry and Nancy Ann Dodd. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Oliver Franklin, Charles Thomas, William Jackson, Oby Zeb, Arthur Louis, Joe Roy, Guy Townsend, Exer Emily, Minneola, Elsja V. and Estelle. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 84 on December 3rd, 1982 in Texarkana, Bowie Co., TX. She was buried in Whiteman Chapel, Clarksville, TX.1 1 -
