Joel James Rainer 
Joel James was born on May 8th, 1848 in AL.1 Joel James' father was Young Wood Rainer and his mother was Isabel Jane Smart. His maternal grandparents were Cornelious Smart and Temperance Rushing. He had a brother and three sisters, named Alfrod Henry, Eliza Anne, Caroline Jane and Sidney. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 69 on July 26th, 1917 in Pike Co., AL. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, Pike Co., AL.1 1 -
