Caroline Jane was born in 1845 in Pike Co., AL.1 Caroline Jane's father was Young Wood Rainer and her mother was Isabel Jane Smart. Her maternal grandparents were Cornelious Smart and Temperance Rushing. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Joel James, Alfrod Henry, Eliza Anne and Sidney. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 71 in 1916 in ?.1 -
