Gothard Lincoln was born on February 12th, 1918 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Gothard Lincoln's father was John Henry Archer Miller and his mother was Roxie Gothard. His paternal grandparents were John Thomas Miller and Mary Virginia Smith; his maternal grandparents were George H. Gothard and Mariah Elizabeth Bridges. He had two brothers and a sister, named Roy, George Bryce and Cloy E.. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 75 on June 21st, 1993 in AL. On 8 Oct 2000 I met John Henry Miller and talked to him for a few
minutes. He told me that his father, Gothard Lincoln Miller, was given
the middle name of Lincoln because he was born on Abraham Lincoln's
birthday.
