George Gothard, Jr. b.ca 1790-1800 S.C. in 1829 census of Laurens
Co.S.C., George was there with seven people in his family. In 1830 he was
in Meriwether Co. Ga. with wife #2, Martha.
In the 1850 census of Tallapoosa Co., AL we find Gothard Gothard, Jr. and
family.
In the next house is T. G. Gothard, wife; Aletha and son; George H.,
could this be
your George H. Gothard and family? In 1860 George Jr. moved to Talledga
Co. Ala. He died there in 1868.
I will share all of my information if you think this could be a part of
your family.
