James Robert Grimes 
James Robert was born on August 19th, 1882.1 James Robert's father was James Shorter Grimes and his mother was Malissa Tillis. His paternal grandparents were John William Grimes and Julia Ann Garrett. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John Temple, Joshua Franklin, Surley Druiah, Eugene Augusta, Horace Spurgein, Clem Euriah, Morgan Sanford, Lillian Leona, Fannie Malissa, Julia Evelyn, Mary Elizabeth, Cynthia Susan and Ellen Shorter. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He had a half-brother named Horace Spurgeon. He died at the age of 51 on January 3rd, 1934.
