Fannie Malissa Grimes 
Fannie Malissa was born on December 2nd, 1883.1 Fannie Malissa's father was James Shorter Grimes and her mother was Malissa Tillis. Her paternal grandparents were John William Grimes and Julia Ann Garrett. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named John Temple, James Robert, Joshua Franklin, Surley Druiah, Eugene Augusta, Horace Spurgein, Clem Euriah, Morgan Sanford, Lillian Leona, Julia Evelyn, Mary Elizabeth, Cynthia Susan and Ellen Shorter. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. She had a half-brother named Horace Spurgeon.-
