Sarah Terry Elmore 
Sarah Terry was born on May 20th, 1807 in Laurens District, SC.1 Sarah Terry's father was John Archer Elmore and her mother was Nancy Ann Martin. Her paternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris; her maternal grandparents were John Martin and Elizabeth Dickerson Terry. She had ten brothers and three sisters, named John Archer, Jr., Morris Martin, William Augustus, Luther Alfred, Henry Marshall, Laurence Ludlow, Physick Rush, Winfield Scott, Albert Standhope, James Scott, Susan Elizabeth, Mary Martin and Ann Harriet. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin Thomas, Franklin Harper, Narcissa, Sophia Saxon and Charlotte Perry. She died at the age of 31 on February 5th, 1839 in Wetumpka, Autauga Co., AL. She was buried in John Archer Elmore Family Cemetery, Elmore Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
