Henry Marshall Elmore 
Henry Marshall was born on January 28th, 1816 in SC.1 Henry Marshall's father was John Archer Elmore and his mother was Nancy Ann Martin. His paternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris; his maternal grandparents were John Martin and Elizabeth Dickerson Terry. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named John Archer, Jr., Morris Martin, William Augustus, Luther Alfred, Laurence Ludlow, Physick Rush, Winfield Scott, Albert Standhope, James Scott, Susan Elizabeth, Sarah Terry, Mary Martin and Ann Harriet. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin Thomas, Franklin Harper, Narcissa, Sophia Saxon and Charlotte Perry. He died at the age of 63 on February 21st, 1879 in Waverly, TX.1 General Notes

Hon. Henry M. Elmore of Macon County, Alabama -probate judge of Macon
County, Alabama, who commanded a Texas regiment during the War of
Seccession. Col. H. M. Elmore - commanded a Texas regiment in the C.S.
Army
during the War of Secession (DicAlaBio) at one time judge of the probate
court of Macon County [Georgia], now in Texas (DicAlaBio) married:
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick -probate Judge of Macon Co., Georgia, went to Texas
and was noted for his service in the Confederate war, colonel of Texas
