Richard Marion Sparks 
Richard Marion was born in 1857 in McLennan Co, Tx. Richard Marion's father was Thomas Benton Sparks and his mother was Phereby Ann Mildred Mahala Smith. His paternal grandparents were Richard Sparks and Elizabeth May Cooper. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Hawkins, William Doyle Fielder, James William, Sarah Elizabeth and Margaret W. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 8 in 1865.-
