Jesse Wilmer Sparks 
Jesse Wilmer was born on June 18th, 1884 in Gholson, Tx. Jesse Wilmer's father was Andrew Jackson Sparks and his mother was Mary Haseltine Molly Hassy Robertson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Benton Sparks and Phereby Ann Mildred Mahala Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Russell Robertson and Sarah A Talbert. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Eugene Marshall, Horace O, Asa Clarence, Alabama, Susan T, Ada, Dora Elizabeth and Mae Virginia. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on September 14th, 1957 in Gholson, Tx. He was buried in Gholson Baptist, Gholson, Tx.General Notes
