Alabama Sparks 
Alabama was born on August 20th, 1873 in Patrick, Texas and her baptism took place on December 8th, 1891 in Caladonia Bap, Gholson, McLennan Co, Tx. Alabama's father was Andrew Jackson Sparks and her mother was Mary Haseltine Molly Hassy Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Benton Sparks and Phereby Ann Mildred Mahala Smith; her maternal grandparents were John Russell Robertson and Sarah A Talbert. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Eugene Marshall, Jesse Wilmer, Horace O, Asa Clarence, Susan T, Ada, Dora Elizabeth and Mae Virginia. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 94 on December 12th, 1967 in Gholson, Tx. She was buried in Gholson Cemetary, Gholson, Texas.-
