Eugene Marshall Sparks 
Eugene Marshall was born on February 19th, 1882 in Gholson, Tx. Eugene Marshall's father was Andrew Jackson Sparks and his mother was Mary Haseltine Molly Hassy Robertson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Benton Sparks and Phereby Ann Mildred Mahala Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Russell Robertson and Sarah A Talbert. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Jesse Wilmer, Horace O, Asa Clarence, Alabama, Susan T, Ada, Dora Elizabeth and Mae Virginia. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on November 7th, 1959. He was buried in Gholson Baptist, Gholson, Tx.General Notes
