Joan, known as AKA DeBeaufort, was born about 1398 in Westminster,Middlesex,England.  AKA DeBeaufort's father was Marquis John (Fairborn) De Beaufort Of Dorset, Earl Of Somerset and her mother was Lady Margaret De Holland.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke John Plantagenet Of Lancaster, Prince Of England and Catherine De Roett; her maternal grandparents were Earl Thomas III De Holland Of Kent and Alice Fitzalan. She had three brothers named John, Edmund and Henry.  She died on July 15th, 1445 in Dunbar Castle,East Lothian,Scotland.1
