Eleanor was born in 1311 in Grismond Castle,Monmouthshire,Wales. Eleanor's father was Earl Henry Plantagenet Of Lancaster and her mother was Maud De Chaworth. Her paternal grandparents were Earl Edmund (Crouchback) Plantagenet Of Lancaster and Blanche De Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick VI De Chaworth and Isabel De Beauchamp. She had a brother and five sisters, named Henry, Maud, Isabel, Joan, Mary and Blanche. She died at the age of 61 on January 11th, 1372 in Arundel Castle,Sussex,England.
