Phillipia was born on June 24th, 1311 in Mons,Hainault,Belgium.1   Phillipia's father was Count William V De Holland Of Hainault and her mother was Joan De Valois.  Her maternal grandparents were Count Charles III Capet Of Valois and Margaret De Anjou.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 58 on August 15th, 1369 in Windsor Castle,Windsor,Berkshire,England.  She was buried in Westminster Abbey,London,Middlesex,England.1

‌Phillipia and Edward III were married in a religious ceremony in York,Yorkshire,England.  They had five sons and five daughters, named The Black Prince, Lionel, Edmund, Thomas, John, Isabella, Joan, Margaret, Mary and Blanche.
