Marguerite was born in 1221 in St Maime,France. Marguerite's father was Count Raymond VI Berengar Of Provence and her mother was Beatrice De Maurienne Of Savoy. Her paternal grandparents were Prince Alfonso Berengar Of Aragon, Count Of Province and Gersinde De Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Count Thomas I De Maurienne Of Savoy and Beatrix De Geneva. She had three sisters named Eleanor, Beatrice and Sanchia. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 74 on December 20th, 1295 in Paris,France.-
