Thomas was born in Woodstock,Oxfordshire,England.1   Thomas' father was King Edward III Plantagenet Of England and his mother was Phillipia De Hainault.  His paternal grandparents were King Edward II Plantagenet Of England and Princess Isabelle (The Fair) Capet Of France; his maternal grandparents were Count William V De Holland Of Hainault and Joan De Valois. He had four brothers and five sisters, named The Black Prince, Lionel, Edmund, John, Isabella, Joan, Margaret, Mary and Blanche.  He died in 1397 in Prince's Inn,Calais,France (imprisoned and murdered by King RIchard II).  He was buried in Westminster Abbey,London,Middlesex,England.2
