King Jaime James I Of Aragon 
Jaime was born in 1208 in Aragon. Jaime's father was King Pedro II Berengar Of Aragon and his mother was Marie De Montpellier. His paternal grandparents were King Alfonso II (The Chaste) Berengar Of Aragon and Princess Sancha De Castile; his maternal grandparents were William De Montpellier and Eudoxia Marie Comnena. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 in 1276.General Notes
Like his grandfather, ascended to the crown at the age of five. It was run by
a regency until he came of age; and his uncle Sanc, Count of Provence,
managed the finances and paid off his father's debts. He later became known
for leading military campaigns that captured Majorca and the other Balearic
islands, as well as Valencia, from the Moors.
