King Pedro II Berengar Of Aragon 
Pedro II's father was King Alfonso II (The Chaste) Berengar Of Aragon and his mother was Princess Sancha De Castile. His paternal grandparents were Raymond V Berengar Of Aragon and Queen Petronila I Ramirez Of Aragon. He had a brother named Alfonso. He died on September 12th, 1213 in Battle of Muret.General Notes
Led into ruinous alliance with Castile at the urging of his mother, his
borrowings to cover various military adventures left his realm in dire
financial straights. He was killed in a battle fighting French Knights led
by the first Baron Simon de Montford (who earlier had been an ally).
