William Walter Patterson 
William Walter was born on July 8th, 1890 in Casey County, Kentucky.1 William Walter's father was Howard Morton Patterson and his mother was Martha Hogan Davenport. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Luther Patterson and Gilla Ann Combest; his maternal grandparents were Newton J. Davenport and Matilda Riggins. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin Harrison, Patrick Newton, Chauncy Depew, Merrel, Elzy, Curtis, Ethel Mae, Myrtle Emma, Alta Ann, Susie Lois and Mary Etta. He had a half-sister named Lorene. He died at the age of 74 on September 1st, 1964 in Petrolia Texas, Clay County.1 General Notes
