Chauncy Depew was born on May 15th, 1897 in Collin County Texas.1 Chauncy Depew's father was Howard Morton Patterson and his mother was Martha Hogan Davenport. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Luther Patterson and Gilla Ann Combest; his maternal grandparents were Newton J. Davenport and Matilda Riggins. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin Harrison, William Walter, Patrick Newton, Merrel, Elzy, Curtis, Ethel Mae, Myrtle Emma, Alta Ann, Susie Lois and Mary Etta. He had a half-sister named Lorene. He died at the age of 59 on March 19th, 1957 in Wichita Falls Texas, Wichita County.1 General Notes
