Sarah Combest 
Sarah was born on January 10th, 1848 in Kentucky.1 Sarah's father was Samuel D. Combest and her mother was Nancy Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; her maternal grandparents were John Hammond and Margaret Peggy Wilson. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Aaron Wyatt, George Washington, Samuel Dick, Wiltha Ann, Mary Jane, Elzira, Nancy, Margaret, Martha and Maranda. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William Jasper, Joseph Newton, Martha Belle and Lucy Abigail. She died in Science Hill, Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 -
