Margaret Combest 
Margaret was born on February 20th, 1841 in Kentucky.1 Margaret's father was Samuel D. Combest and her mother was Nancy Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; her maternal grandparents were John Hammond and Margaret Peggy Wilson. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Aaron Wyatt, George Washington, Samuel Dick, Wiltha Ann, Mary Jane, Elzira, Nancy, Martha, Maranda and Sarah. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William Jasper, Joseph Newton, Martha Belle and Lucy Abigail. She died due to a fever at the age of 17 on May 19th, 1858 in Ingle, Kentucky (Pleasant Point Cemetery).1 -
