Joseph Newton Combest 
Joseph Newton was born on April 5th, 1874.1 Joseph Newton's father was Samuel D. Combest and his mother was Lucy Ann Roy. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Shuffey Roy and Patsy Barrow. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Jasper, Martha Belle and Lucy Abigail. He was the youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Aaron Wyatt, George Washington, Samuel Dick, Wiltha Ann, Mary Jane, Elzira, Nancy, Margaret, Martha, Maranda and Sarah. He died at the age of 84 on November 15th, 1958 in Pulaski County, Ky (Cedar Point Cemetery).1 -
