Eliza Ann Jane was born on January 27th, 1823 in Montgomery Co. AL.1 Eliza Ann Jane's father was Joel Dickinson and her mother was Clarissa Almira Rippetoe. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Dickinson and Elizabeth Daniel. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Lafayette M., David Rippetoe, Alfred Harrison, William "Issac", Joel Shadrack, Amanda Almira Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Catherine Amanda, Lucinda Jane and Sarah Frances. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother named Robert. She died at the age of 52 on October 25th, 1875.1 General Notes
