Ephraim Daniel 
Ephraim was born in 1742 in Northampton, NC.1 Ephraim's father was John Daniel and his mother was Sarah Dickinson. His paternal grandparents were William Daniel and Deborah Garland; his maternal grandparents were John Dickinson and Rebecka West. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Abraham, Isaac, John, Joseph, Elizabeth and Sarah. He died at the age of 58 in 1800 in Wayne Co., NC.1 General Notes

Married Brambley Caroline Brown.
1755 - Deed: Northampto n Co., NC EPHRAIM and BRAMBLEY DANIEL sold the
land he inherited from his father, and later moved to Dobbs Co., NC
where he had received a grant of 200 ac for military service in Rev.
War.

DANIEL 200 ac lying on East side of Penbright Swamp joining his own
land, including his improvements.
1782 - Land Grant: 29 Oct 1782, Bk 1, p. 169 #145 , State of NC
#273...granted Ephraim Daniel 200 ac lying in Co of Dobbs on N. side
Penbright Swamp, nr John King and James Hall. Note: Dobbs Co was
disc ontinued 1791...in 1779 Wayne Co was made from Craven, Dobbs.)
Cost of thi s grant was 50 shillings for every 100 acres.

DICKINSON of the County of Wayne of the State of N. Carolina Being
tho sick & weak in B ody yet of a Sount & disposing mind thanks be to
god for it Do Make & Orda in tsaddle During widowhood.
I give to my son ISAAC three Negrows by th e names of Simon &
lusse & sealea to him and his ares forever.
I give to my d aughter MARTHA three Negroes by the names of
Jinne & Moses & Jim to her and he r ares for Everer.
I give to my Daughter CHARITY three Negroes by the Names of

of the little Branch jest a bove the old mill & running up to
the head of it thence stear a strait corse to a great pond

lost although there had to be a will since it is men tioned in
