Rebecka Dickinson (footnote 8), in naming her heirs, in all likelihood
simply listed her children in order of birth: SARAH DANIEL, ELIZABETH
FUTTRELL, DANI EL DICKINSON, REBECKA NEWSOM, JOHN DICKINSON, CHARITY
DICKINSON, DAVID DICKIN SON, MARY DICKINSON, AND ISAAC DICKINSON.
John Dickinson (footnote 8) separate s the sons from the daughters while
maintaining the same sequence as Rebecka w ithin each sex. Grimes in his
"Abstracts of N.C. Wills omitted Daniel from his abstract of Rebecka's
will causing Oleta (Dickinson) to wonder if Daniel were a stepson. It is
paramount to see original documents if at all possible.
