  1793 - ELIZABETH ROGERS filed petition 14 Oct 1793, for right of dower in
  JONATHAN ROGERS' estate (some 200 acres of land situate south of
  Black Creed) adjoining MATHEW TURNER.
  This 12th December 1793 - In obedience to an Order of court th e Sheriff
  summons the Partie Jurors (to Wit) to allot and set of the Widow Rog ers
  her Rights of Dower in the Real and Personal Estate of Jonathan Rogers
  De c'd - (Viz)  beginning at a Pine on the south side of Black Creek and
  runs the nce South to the mouth of the Spring Branch, and thence up th
  said spring Bran ch to the Back Line and with the said Back Line to or
  near the head of a slash , and thence down the slash to Ephraim Daniels
  Line, and with the said Daniels line to Black Creek to the Beginning as
  it appears to us to be one third part of the Lnads that said Jonathan
  Rogers Dec'd possess'd at his death, and also the Sum of Thirty Eight
  Pounds and Eight Pence it appears to us to be one fif th part of the money
  arising from the sale of the sd. Deceas'd Jonathan Rogers . Signed:Simon
