Thomas Buchanan

Thomas was born on August 14th, 1776 in Washington, Virginia.¹   Thomas' father was John Buchanan and his mother was Jane Patterson.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Buchanan and Martha McNutt. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, James, William E, John, Matthew, Robert, Andrew, Alexander, Martha, Ann, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 59 in March 1836 in Washington, Arkansas.¹
