Alexander Buchanan

Alexander was born on January 22nd, 1800.¹   Alexander's father was John Buchanan and his mother was Jane Patterson.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Buchanan and Martha McNutt. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, James, William E, John, Matthew, Robert, Andrew, Martha, Ann, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the second youngest of the thirteen children.  He died in Cane Hill, Washington, Arkansas.¹
