Elizabeth Buchanan

Elizabeth was born on December 25th, 1797.¹   Elizabeth's father was John Buchanan and her mother was Jane Patterson.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Buchanan and Martha McNutt. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, James, William E, John, Matthew, Robert, Andrew, Alexander, Martha, Ann and Nancy.  She was the third youngest of the thirteen children.
