Robert Buchanan

Robert was born on November 7th, 1789 in Tennessee.¹   Robert's father was John Buchanan and his mother was Jane Patterson.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Buchanan and Martha McNutt. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, James, William E, John, Matthew, Andrew, Alexander, Martha, Ann, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.
