Margaret was born about 1226 in of Ewyas Lacy, Herefordshire, England.1 Margaret's father was Gilbert de Lacy Lord Meath and her mother was Isabel le Bigod. Her paternal grandparents were Walter de Lacy Lord Palatine of Meath and Margaret de Braiose; her maternal grandparents were Hugh le Bigod Earl of Norfolk and Maud Marshall. She had a sister named Matilda. She had two half-sisters named Isabel and Maud. She died in 1256.1 -
