Sibilla (Maud) was born in 1082 in of Kempsford, Gloucestershire, England.1   Sibilla (Maud)'s father was Sir Patrick de Cadcurcis and her mother was Maud de Hesdin.  Her maternal grandfather was Ernulf de Hesdin sn de Hesdin. She had a brother named Patrick.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 65 in 1147 in near The Choir, Bradenstoke, Wiltshire, England.1
