Alice de Clare 
Alice was born in 1080 in Tunbridge, Kent, England.1 Alice's father was Gilbert de Tousburg Earl of Clare and her mother was Adeliza (Alice) de Clermont. Her paternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare and Rohese Giffard; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Clermont Ct of Clermont and Marguerite de Montdidier. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard FitzGilbert de Clare, Gilbert "Strongbow" FitzGilbert, Rohese and Margaret. She died about 1163.1 General Notes
