Ludie Mitchell Shealy 
Ludie Mitchell was born on May 1st, 1884.1 Ludie Mitchell's father was Leonard L. Shealy and his mother was Martha Isabelle Comalander. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named James Alexander, Jacob Franklin, Andrew Pierson, John Elliott, Jonah Tompson, Perry Haskell, Birty Lee, Oscar Roland, Ernest Ardell, Angie Ada, Mary Emma, Marrilla Catherine and Brinnie Mae. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 63 on August 19th, 1947. He was buried in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Lexington, South Carolina.1 1 -
