John Elliott Shealy 
John Elliott was born on December 31st, 1875 in Nr Chapin, South Carolina.1 John Elliott's father was Leonard L. Shealy and his mother was Martha Isabelle Comalander. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named James Alexander, Jacob Franklin, Andrew Pierson, Jonah Tompson, Perry Haskell, Ludie Mitchell, Birty Lee, Oscar Roland, Ernest Ardell, Angie Ada, Mary Emma, Marrilla Catherine and Brinnie Mae. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 74 on September 19th, 1950 in Nr Chapin, South Carolina. He was buried in Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 -
