Jacob Franklin Shealy 
Jacob Franklin was born on February 13th, 1871 in Nr Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Jacob Franklin's father was Leonard L. Shealy and his mother was Martha Isabelle Comalander. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named James Alexander, Andrew Pierson, John Elliott, Jonah Tompson, Perry Haskell, Ludie Mitchell, Birty Lee, Oscar Roland, Ernest Ardell, Angie Ada, Mary Emma, Marrilla Catherine and Brinnie Mae. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 9 on March 6th, 1880 in Nr Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried in Comalander Cemetery, Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 1 -
