Brinnie Mae was born on March 21st, 1888.1 Brinnie Mae's father was Leonard L. Shealy and her mother was Martha Isabelle Comalander. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. She had ten brothers and three sisters, named James Alexander, Jacob Franklin, Andrew Pierson, John Elliott, Jonah Tompson, Perry Haskell, Ludie Mitchell, Birty Lee, Oscar Roland, Ernest Ardell, Angie Ada, Mary Emma and Marrilla Catherine. She was the third youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 88 on July 10th, 1976. She was buried in Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 -
