Birty Lee Shealy 
Birty Lee was born on January 12th, 1885.1 Birty Lee's father was Leonard L. Shealy and his mother was Martha Isabelle Comalander. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named James Alexander, Jacob Franklin, Andrew Pierson, John Elliott, Jonah Tompson, Perry Haskell, Ludie Mitchell, Oscar Roland, Ernest Ardell, Angie Ada, Mary Emma, Marrilla Catherine and Brinnie Mae. He was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 87 on April 9th, 1972. He was buried in Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 -
