Lillie Mae was born on December 6th, 1906.1   Lillie Mae's father was Patrick Boland and her mother was Claton Alice Bowers.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Boland and Elizabeth H. Shealy. She had two brothers and five sisters, named J. L. Nedward (Ned), Bounce Edward, Bertha Marie, Carrie Lee, Decia Iola, Lera Agnes and Cleo Myrtle.  She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jonas J., Jesse Irvin, Cephas Freddie, Joseph Francis and Magnolia G. (Maggie).  She died at the age of 41 on March 23rd, 1948 in Bur St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pomaria, SC.  She was buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1
