Cephas Freddie was born on March 30th, 1886.1   Cephas Freddie's father was Patrick Boland and his mother was Frances Texanna Frick.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Boland and Elizabeth H. Shealy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jonas J., Jesse Irvin, Joseph Francis and Magnolia G. (Maggie).  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named J. L. Nedward (Ned), Bounce Edward, Bertha Marie, Carrie Lee, Decia Iola, Lera Agnes, Lillie Mae and Cleo Myrtle.  He died at the age of 84 on September 3rd, 1970.  He was buried in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Cemetery, Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 1
