Jesse Irvin Boland 
Jesse Irvin was born on March 25th, 1884.1 Jesse Irvin's father was Patrick Boland and his mother was Frances Texanna Frick. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Boland and Elizabeth H. Shealy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jonas J., Cephas Freddie, Joseph Francis and Magnolia G. (Maggie). He was the third oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named J. L. Nedward (Ned), Bounce Edward, Bertha Marie, Carrie Lee, Decia Iola, Lera Agnes, Lillie Mae and Cleo Myrtle. He died at the age of 63 on July 12th, 1947 in Newberry County, SC. He was buried in St. Peters Pineywoods, Chapin, South Carolina.1 1 General Notes
