Anne Gissage Poindexter 
Anne Gissage was born in 1745. Anne Gissage's father was John P. Poindexter and her mother was Christian Gossage. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Poindexter and Sarah Crawford; her maternal grandparents were Richard Gossage and Sarah Shelton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Richard, Elizabeth Ann, Sarah and Frances. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
