Mary Jane Page

Mary Jane was born on October 30th, 1798 in "Shelly", Gloucester Co., Virginia. Mary Jane's father was Mann Page and her mother was Elizabeth Nelson. Her paternal grandparents were John Page and Frances Burwell; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Nelson and Lucy Grymes. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas Nelson, Mann, William Nelson, Warner Lewis, Philip Ludwell Grymes, Robert Nelson, Thomas Jefferson, Lucy Mann, Frances Burwell, Eliza Nelson, Sally Burwell, Anne and Cornelia Mann. She was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 39 in 1837.
