Rebecca Peyton Marshall 
Rebecca Peyton was born on September 10th, 1857 in "The Crag", Fauquier Co., VA. Rebecca Peyton's father was Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and her mother was Rebecca Peyton Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and Eliza Letitia Steptoe Clarkson; her maternal grandparents were Edward Carrington Marshall and Rebecca Courtenay Peyton. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Jaquelin Ambler, Edward Carrington, William Clarkson, Yelverton Peyton, Marion Lewis, Randolph, Eliza Clarkson and Mildred Pickett. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 62 in 1919 in "The Crag", Fauquier Co., VA.-
