Rebecca Peyton Marshall 
Rebecca Peyton was born on July 22nd, 1833 in "Carrington", Markham, Fauquier Co., VA. Rebecca Peyton's father was Edward Carrington Marshall and her mother was Rebecca Courtenay Peyton. Her paternal grandparents were John Marshall and Mary Willis Ambler; her maternal grandparents were John Peyton and Mary Chiswell Lewis. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Edward Carrington, James Keith, Jaquelin Ambler, Mary Lewis, Betsy Lewis and Courtenay Norton. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 61 on May 12th, 1895 in "The Crag", Fauquier Co., VA. She was buried in December 1895 in Leeds Church, Hume, Fauquier Co., VA.-
